Co-curricular activities
The school is involved in a number of co-curricular activities including:
- Creative Arts Expo
- School Choir
- Student Council
- Sports - Includings swimming, athletics, cross country, touch football, netball, AFL, & soccer
Additional teaching and learning programs
- Choir
Each student has the opportunity to audition for the school junior or senior choir - Languages other than English (LOTE)
Each student learns Japanese 30 minutes per fortnight focusing on elementary language and cultural insights - Technology
Teaching skills in accessing technology - Special needs
Individualised instruction for funded children in consultation with the class teacher. Other children in need are given support as necessary - Research skills/ information process
Transition programs
- Pre-school to Kindergarten Transition
Orientation meetings for parents & children and a kindergarten forum familiarising parents with school routines and learning - Year 6 to Secondary
Special Education teachers liaise with high school to assist smooth transition of children with special needs through school visits - Two week Transition Program to high school
This takes place in term four
Faith Experiences
There are rich opportunities for children to develop their faith through prayer and liturgy. We also hold Stage Reflection Days for our students focusing on building faith and building better relationships
